Supper clubs, home restaurants or “pop-ups” have become very popular over the last few years as an alternative way to eat out, and it is a concept that brings people and food together in a relaxed, informal environment.

Butterscotch Supper Club is typically held on either a Friday or Saturday, but can be booked for private parties and special occasions on other evenings by arrangement.

Your Experience…

Supper Clubs are a cross between a dinner party and a restaurant. You get the informality of a domestic setting but with the added benefit of a restaurant service – no cooking, cleaning, table laying, serving or clearing up. The food is served dinner party style on one large table in my home dining room near Woking in Surrey. With one, large sociable table you can sit alongside people you may or may not already know and enjoy the evening as a group, a couple or on your own. If you prefer, you can book the whole table exclusively for you and your friends.

Come along and enjoy a delicious four course meal, devised and prepared by me, with coffee and hand-made petits fours to finish. I prepare delicious, balanced menus to suit the produce available at the time of year. I have developed a great relationship with my local butcher and fishmonger, and all of my ingredients are of the best quality I can find. There aren’t any choices on the menu but I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! Guests find that not knowing the menu beforehand is all part of the experience. Please bring your own wine, beer and soft drinks as we are not licensed and cannot sell alcohol by law. We provide still, filtered, chilled tap water.

For those of you who haven’t visited before, the menu is a mystery until you arrive on the evening. Dietary requirements are catered for, and you need to let me know when booking. To assist with your wine choices, I can give you a hint about the menu a few days before.

Do have a look at my seasonal sample menus but do remember they are just samples of the types of dishes I like to cook.
